Coming Up Roses Travelogues amongst most watched on Channel 5

A recent feature on Broadcast has shown that travelogues continue to captivate UK audiences, proving a reliable and popular genre across public service broadcasters. Channel 5 has firmly cemented its position as the leader in this space as the mix of celebrity-led adventures and scenic storytelling has resonated with viewers across the board. Standout series in Channel 5’s successful run of travelogues include two Coming Up Roses’ productions: Sue Perkins: Lost in Thailand, which averaged a solid 900,000 viewers and a 6% share, and The Mighty Mississippi with Nick Knowles which attracted 1 million viewers and a 6% share.
