  • Oliver Wright

    CREATIVE DIRECTOR

    Oliver launched Coming Up Roses in March 2023 and it has proved to be a fruitful first year. Key critical and ratings successes include Malta : Jewel of the Mediterranean, The 1970s Supermarket, Tim Peake’s Secrets of Our Universe, Nick Knowles’ Into the Mississippi, Kensington & Chelsea The Royal Borough and Secrets of the Royal Palaces Series 4.

    As creative lead, Oliver is across all elements of programme development and production, working closely with Harriet Scott and Andrew Nelson on building talented and happy teams and nurturing key production talent.

    Prior to Roses, he was Head of Factual & Features at Viacom International Studios UK where he oversaw development and production of over 200 hours of high rating & critically acclaimed series & documentaries for Channel 5, 5 Star, Reelz and Paramount UK. Key credits include Nick Knowles: Into the Grand Canyon, Secrets of the Royal Palaces, Inheritance Wars, The Wonderful World of Chocolate, Nick Knowles’ Big House Clearout, Story of the Songs, Broadmoor: High Security & Serial Killers, Princess Diana In Her Own Words, TK Maxx: How Do They Do It, Burger Wars: McDonalds Vs Burger King, ABBA Secrets of Their Greatest Hits and ABBA: The Missing 40 Years.

    Before VIS UK he developed and produced highly successful returning international formats & documentaries including the launch series of Embarrassing Bodies, Supersize vs Superskinny, The Sex Education Show, Katie Piper’s Bodyshockers & The Millionaire Party Planner.

  • Harriet Scott

    EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

    Alongside Oliver Wright, Harriet spearheads development at Coming Up Roses and executive produces key titles. She executive produced the hit Channel 5 series The 1970s Supermarket and follow ups The 1970s Supermarket at Christmas, The 1970s Dinner Party, The 1970s Travel Show and The 1980s Supermarket, bringing Rustie Lee and Potato Waffles to a new generation of viewers.

    Harriet has also created and re-versioned a raft of consumer programmes that have been ratings winners including: Lidl vs Fortnum & Mason: Who Does Christmas Best?, Cadbury at Easter, IKEA: How Do They Do It?, Wetherspoons vs Toby Carvery: Which is Better? and Selfridges at Christmas.

    At Viacom UK Harriet devised and executive produced Motorway: Hell on Highway where motoring experts analyse shocking clips of incidents on motorways around the world. The success of season one led to a Roses recommission of 12 more episodes.

    Previously, Harriet worked in senior roles in development and production. As Head of Development at BBC Studios Factual Salford and Viacom International Studios UK she won documentary commissions including The Teacher with Tourette’s and Michael Crawford: Some Mothers Do ‘Ave Em and developed returnable formats including The Wonderful World of Chocolate, 5 Mistakes That Caught A Killer and Digging Up Britain’s Past.

  • Andrew Nelson

    PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE

    Andrew joined Coming Up Roses at it’s launch in March 2023 and works as the Production Executive across all of their output.

    Before making the move to Coming Up Roses he was a Production Executive at Viacom International Studios, working across their factual output including shows such as Nick Knowles' Railway Adventures, Secrets of the Royal Palaces, ABBA: The Missing 40 Years, Hollywood Icons and The Greatest Music Videos of the 80s and 90s.

    Prior to his time at Viacom Andrew worked on productions for all the UK terrestrial broadcasters, including time on Panorama, The One Show, DNA Family Secrets with Stacey Dooley, The British Comedy Awards, Masterchef and many others.

  • Grace Kitto

    SERIES EDITOR

    Grace joined Coming Up Roses in March 2023 from Viacom International Studios UK where she worked across a wide range of factual entertainment programmes for Channel 5. Key credits include Series Editor on Nick Knowles’ Into the Grand Canyon, Nick Knowles’ Into Death Valley, Hollywood Icons and Secrets of the Royal Palaces, Executive Producer on The Wonderful World of Chocolate.

    At Coming Up Roses she is Series Editor for the second series of Nick Knowles’ Big Adventures and Nick Knowles’ Amazing Railways Adventures,

    Before VIS UK she Series Produced Paul Hollywood Eats Japan and Paul Hollywood Eats Mexico, both for North One Television/ Channel Four. She was Executive Producer for six years on the Rick Stein series at Denham Productions for BBC2, where titles included Rick Stein’s Long Weekends and Rick Stein’s Road to Mexico.

  • Chaia Crompton-Schreiber

    DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT PRODUCER

    Chaia joined Coming Up Roses in April 2023, as a key member of the casting team on the observational documentary series, The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea followed by Malta: Jewel of the Mediterranean for Channel 5.

    Chaia started her career as presenter's assistant on The Grand Tour zooming around Eastern Europe, going on to research on Clarkson's Farm, and developing on projects for Amazon Studios.

    She currently works across the slate of new development projects and casting on productions.
